            Among entering the golf industry a few years ago, only my wallet knew of loyalty when it came to golf. I’ve since grown to better understand what it means to create fun and enjoyable experiences through golf. Creating loyalty starts with building a positive relationship with guests through personable experiences. A sort of “if you build it, they will come” mentality was promptly erased from my mind as I grew to learn this concept.

            Rewarding those who frequent your course is vital to success in the golf industry. Many may know this industry lost 400,000 golfers last year nationwide, a staggering figure to say the least. There has never been a more vital time to grow and sustain the game of golf. It is with this growth that we are able to create new and exciting programs to benefit both the avid and recreational golfer alike. Rewarding golfers is simple. However, creating loyalty warrants a multitude of things. It begins with creating a positive environment where guests feel welcome enough to return again and again, many bringing others to join.

            Chris and I have set out to make 2015 the best year to date for the Club, focusing on loyalty and rewarding our guests who visit Bent Creek. This year also marks some of the course’s biggest improvement projects since it’s opening in 1989.

These projects include:

·         A full bunker renovation. Including sand and grass bunkers.

·         Tee Box renovations

·         Cart Path renovations
